Kebabs

Steak and Potato Kebabs

1/2 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
2 T red-wine or cider vinegar
2 T sour cream
1 small clove of garlic
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp salt
Place all above into a food processor and process until smooth. Set aside.

Place 8 new or baby potatoes in a microwave-safe container, cover and heat on high until just fork tender - 3-3 1/2 minutes. Toss potatoes with:

1 1/4 pounds strip steak, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
2 poblano or 1 green bell pepper, chunked
1 onion, chunked
1 tsp evoo
1/4 tsp salt

Thread potatoes, peppers, onions and meat onto skewers. Cook on a hot grill, turning twice, until the steaks are done. Serve with sauce.
